  9. ALERT is a highly unusual combination "burglar alarm"  and  "screen saver".  
  10. Starting the program continuously flashes the messages INTRUDER ALERT!  and
  11. CALLING POLICE. To avoid screen burnout, the text and background colors, as
  12. well as the text locations are varied at short intervals.  The program also
  13. at random intervals simulates, through the speaker, the dialing of a  phone 
  14. for greater effect (this feature may be disabled if desired).  This program
  15. may be freely used without payment of the registration, but the author does
  16. request a payment if its use prevents  or limits the extent of a  burglary.
